The Best Turkey Chili


Servings 8 people+

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Organic Ground Turkey
  • 2 Packets McCormicks Low Sodium Chili Seasoning Or your favorite-we use mild so the whole family can enjoy
  • 2 15oz Fire roasted or petite diced no salt added Tomatoes
  • 2 15oz Organic Black Beans Drained and rinsed
  • 2 15oz Organic Pinto Beans Drained and rinsed
  • 16 oz Frozen Corn
  • 3-6 Tbl Fire roasted Chilies mild
  • 3 TBl No salt added Tomato Paste
  • 2 Cups water

Instructions

  1. *Spray Dutch Oven with Avocado oil

    *Brown Ground Turkey then mix in seasoning

    *Add all ingredients not including water-stir well

    *Add water-just enough to see it around the sides and in the middle

    *Simmer 25-30 minutes and Serve

    *Add desired topping (Cheese, sour cream, avocado etc)

    We love to add some avocado to ours once individual bowls-takes places of the cheese and gives you a good healthy dose of fat with all your protein.

    *If using a slow cooker-brown turkey and season in a large pan then transfer Meat to slow cooker-then follow with the remainder of directions.  Cook on high for 2-4 hours or low 4-6 hours
